About Us

We are a community of volunteers that believe the library is vital for promoting an on-going love of reading.

Our mission is to raise funds towards library services, facilities and needs, and to stimulate gifts of books and other media for the benefit of the Orcutt Branch Library and our local community. Some of the ways we raise funds are through our community book sales, offering on-going sales of books and magazines inside the library on the back wall shelves (The Friends Marketplace), and through monetary donations and memberships. 

Our FOL Board consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, parliamentarian, and committee chairs for membership, publicity, and book sales.
